And so... Liz Cheney's constituents have just voted her out of office by a more than 37.4% margin, and she will be replaced by Trump-endorsed opponent Harriet Hageman. Democracy at work. Oh the irony!
She didn't lose the election because she opposed Trump, she lost it because she didn't represent the interests of her people in congress. Instead she went off and did her own thing. That's a bad strategy in a democracy.
"It's been my honor to serve the people of Wyoming by spending my every waking moment fighting Trump, just like Abraham Lincoln did. I may not be able to win a mid-term primary, but you can be sure I'm going to run for president and win"
